Meet Sasha!! Sasha is a gorgeous 9 month old single breed Border Collie.Unfortunately, she is a double merle due to poor breeding practices, and she is deaf.Sadly her first home was unaware at first that she was deaf, and allowed her to play with their older dog, she did not hear the warnings, and was attacked when she was just tiny. As a result, if Sasha feels threatened by another dog, she will immediately go after that dog. For this reason Sasha is only adoptable as an only dog. She loves to play with other dogs, but is NOT a candidate for a home with another dog, as she will resource guard her people.She ADORES humans of all sizes. She is crate trained and house broken! Fenced yard a must, experienced dog owners and those with deaf dog experience preferred. If you feel that Sasha could be a match, please visit www.hullshaven.org to complete our adoption application. Our girl Hazel has found the perfect forever!! Hazel came in to our care in April and her foster mom dedicated the past few months teaching her that she has nothing to be afraid of anymore and people are good! She had a blast in foster with her foster siblings, a cat and a couple of small breed dogs, and we were so hopeful that she would find a great forever home with some small pals to hang out with. Well, our prayers were answered because she found the absolute PERFECT family! We now know her as Stella and she has settled in so well with her humans and her furry friends Parker (pup) and Wednesday (cat) and is really so happy. Thank you to her amazing foster mom for being there to help her on her way, and thank you to her new family for the great update.
