I'm a gentle, sweet, and cuddly dog who adores being around my foster family and foster sister. When I first came into care, I was quite unsure and scared of everything, but my foster family has been teaching me that there's no need to be afraid, though I still get spooked from time to time. I'm gradually learning to sit, and with consistent training, I'm sure I'll master it soon! Mostly, I'm house trained, but occasionally, if my foster mom doesn't catch my cue, I might have an accident indoors. I know it's not right, but I'm still learning. During the night, I sleep well in my crate. I absolutely love going for walks, and I generally behave well on a leash, except when something startles me. I love playing fetch! I am getting pretty good at it too! I'm an energetic dog, so having a large yard, preferably with another dog, would be ideal for me. I'm looking for a patient and consistent family who can show me unconditional love. Older children would be better suited for me. I do require a fully fenced, secured yard and lots of patience. I would probably do best in a quieter setting, the hustle and bustle of the city is a lot to get used to. So maybe a country home, or quiet area with not a lot of traffic. I am a work in progress and I hope to find that special family that has the perfect balance of patience, love and desire to see me become the best version of myself that I know I can be! I am fully vetted, health checked, spayed, 4DX negative and on heartworm prevention. I can't wait to find my forever family soon!
