He was tossed out and left with with another dog to fend for himself, and was emaciated when he arrived into rescue. Jackson has a nervous energy, and would do exceedingly well if someone wanted to do herding with him. His herding instinct is very high. For this reason, and his fear of loud noises and sudden movements, he will ONLY be adopted into a home with children over 12. He is VERY high energy, but as yet has not developed toy drive. Jackson is house broken and crate trained., and LOVES to cuddle once you gain his trust. Jackson should be adopted to a home with another playful dog with no fear. Out in the country, he is excellent off leash. A city home MUST HAVE A FENCED YARD. If you feel Jackson could be a great match for you, please complete an adoption application.
