Schmitty is an adorable 1 year old Border Collie/ Great Pyrenees mix, about 70 lbs and he will likely top out at 80 lbs. This is not an uncommon mix given that many farms have herding dogs and guardian dogs on the same property. Unfortunately, some do not spay and neuter these dogs. Schmitty has the toy drive of a Border Collie, but the protection instincts of the Pyr. Because of this, he would make a fantastic country dog, who is also part of the family and is allowed to live in the house. Schmitty is house broken and crate trained. He is fabulous with other dogs, and once he knows who his family is, he is perfectly safe and loving. Schmitty loves to play ball and frisbee. He has good recall off leash.
