This story is a different sort of story. Britni was on death row in Ohio, and her time was running out. The funny thing is, she looked VERY much like an Australian Cattle Dog in her petfinder photo. Petfinder photos can be VERY deceiving. My friend Pam, who has transported dogs for us, was looking for a nice agility dog.

Pam and her family live on an acreage in Wisconsin that any dog would be thrilled to live on! They are a nice family and their dog is getting very very old. They wanted to bring in a new family member. I sent Pam the link to Britni's Petfinder page, and told her that this little one I believed had Border Collie in her. Pam fell in love with her just from a picture.

With help from our wonderful friends Kim R, and Karin in Ohio, we managed to get Britni pulled and transported to Pam and her family. She is a very happy dog, with a very loving family. Although Britni never passed through our doors, we still managed to save her life. And the funniest part is..I think she is a PUREBRED Border Collie... :) She is BEAUTIFUL. Her petfinder photo did not do her justice at ALL.
