Kipper's Happy Tail

Kipper made the long trip from Ohio via ground transport, off death row. He was due to be put to death by gas. Kipper was placed into a foster home, where he seemed to fit right in. The following day, however, he managed to slip out the door and disappear into the cold winter night.

After hours of searching, putting up reward posters, and many tears shed, we went home and Sally began sending out emergency emails. The following morning she called CJOB, a local talk radio station. Larry Updike agreed to do a story on Kipper's disappearance because of the long story behind the dog.

Moments after bing on the air, the phone rang, and we were told Kipper had been found. A young man named Jeff had seen Kipper in a back lane and brought him into his home. They made him a nice bed and he settled for the night.

Jeff's Mom Glori heard Kipper's tale and they decided to adopt him into their home. They even take Kipper to work!
