PLEASE READ the FULL BIO... hers is not an easy story, but somewhere out there is the perfect loving home for Aggie. She is definitely not the dog for a first time dog owner, and will not be adopted into a city home due to her fear of loud noises. Aggie came in with 7 other dogs from a horrible hoarding situation in North Battleford Saskatchewan. She has a massive scar on her face, and we are unaware of how it happened. Whatever happened is likely the reason Aggie will sometimes scream in fear if you reach for her collar, and often will cower in fear if approached. For this reason, at first it is imperative that she wears a leash until she adjusts. She is not afraid of the leash and walks well with it. When she arrived, the wound on her face was quite awful, and she had a terrible skin condition. Now, the scar has healed nicely, and her skin and coat is shiny and beautiful! She still has some sparse areas, but it is coming! Aggie is extremely affectionate once she trusts you. She is kennel trained and for the most part house trained, but CANNOT be trusted loose in the house without supervision. She is good with other dogs, but would thrive with only one other dog or as an only dog. Aggie is excellent on leash, and once she feels safe with you, she is also great off leash. She prefers women but would probably be fine with a male once she has had time to adapt. Her favourite pastimes are rolling in the grass, sniffing everything and cuddling. Fenced yard a must. If you feel that Aggie could be a great match for you, please complete an adoption application. Adoption fee is $450 and this includes their core vaccines (DA2PPV, Rabies) deworming, health checks and spay/neuter, as well as any care required. All finalized adoptions come with a free 6 week trial of pet insurance with Pet Secure.
