Training * house trained/kennel-crate More about me... Meet Luna! To begin with, YES. Luna is GORGEOUS. She's an 18 month old single breed Border Collie. Luna is NOT the dog for just anyone. She's a very special case. Unfortunately Luna was purchased as a puppy by someone who had no idea what they were getting when the bought a Border Collie. Because she didn't receive the training and exercise she requires, Luna developed behavior problems. HOWEVER!!! In the right home, the right environment, Luna will thrive. She MUST have a firm but loving hand... someone who is willing to use NILIF (Nothing In Life Is Free) training, and not baby her. Luna loves clicker training and would excel in Rally Obedience and/or agility. She has NO toy drive... but great food drive. Luna has pretty good recall, and is excellent around ALL other dogs, ZERO aggression. She loves all people, kids and adults. We do recommend no small children due to her idiosyncrasies. Luna has some peculiar habits... if you chop food, the sound will make her "spin". When she does this, a firm SIT STAY and treats for sitting works wonders. Because of her peculiarities, we recommend no small children. Kids 15 and older only please. HHBCR will be extremely cautious who adopts this beautiful girl. She is house trained, but we do not crate her. If you feel that Luna could be a great match for you, please complete an adoption application.
