Training * house trained/kennel-crate More about me... Hi. I’m Moose. Yes, like the large, majestic creature… and honestly, the name fits. I’m a gentle giant with a heart just as big as my paws. I LOVE people. Big people, small people, especially the tiny humans (I’m very careful with toddlers—I know they’re important). If you’ve got kids, I’m basically their new best friend and personal shadow. My hobbies include: playing fetch like a champ, winning at tug-of-war (don’t worry, I let you win sometimes), and looking absolutely fabulous. Speaking of which—have you seen my coat?! It doesn’t just happen. I get brushed every night (I stand or lay like the good boy I am), and I hit the spa every three weeks. I’m what you might call… high maintenance, but worth it. Now, I should mention—I’m curious. Very curious. If you leave socks, shoes, or toys out, I will assume they are gifts for me. Same goes for countertops. My nose just happens to be the perfect height for quality control inspections. We’re working on it. I know my basics: sit, down, off, and spin (yes, I can spin—it’s adorable). I walk pretty nicely most of the time, unless I spot something that clearly requires investigation. Also… I’ll be honest with you—I don’t always come when called (selective hearing, you know?). Because of that, I need to stay on a leash for walks and have a fenced yard to keep me safe while I explore. When my humans leave the house, I hang out in my crate (it’s my chill zone), and I sleep there at night too. Good news—you get my crate when you adopt me! It’s large though… I mean, I am Moose… so make sure you’ve got the space. I don’t bark much—I prefer to keep things chill. I’d really love a home with another playful dog. Someone who understands that life is better when you have a buddy to wrestle with. Also… I believe I belong on the couch and bed with you. However, if you say “off,” I will respectfully (and dramatically) hop down. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly mischievous, extremely handsome companion… I’m your Moose.
