Training * house trained/kennel-crate More about me... Meet Copper! Hi there! My name is Copper, and I’m a handsome 2-year-old boy looking for my forever family. Right now I’m living with my foster mom and dad, along with two foster sisters and a foster brother. We live on a beautiful 6-acre property with cats, a horse, and even some chickens. I get along wonderfully with the other dogs, the cats, and the horse. The chickens are a little too exciting for me, though, so I’m still learning that chasing them is not allowed! My foster family says I’m an easy dog to live with. I’m crate trained, house trained, and very trustworthy in the home, so I can stay loose in the house when my people are away. I’m also great at letting everyone know when I need to go outside. I’m a superstar for grooming and happily stand still for brushing and nail trims. I enjoy car rides, walk nicely on a leash, and have even learned to sit—although my version usually ends with me flopping down dramatically afterwards! One of my favorite things is making my foster family laugh. They lovingly call me “Dumbledork” because I’m wonderfully silly and sometimes like to sing. I have a sweet, goofy personality and a big heart, and my foster mom says I’m going to make someone very happy. I would especially love a home with another friendly dog to play with, but most of all I’m looking for a family that will love me forever.
